Next to the Bible, this is my favorite written work. Just to read Lewis' concept of Christ's work in our life, as that of building a castle, and not just a remodelling job, or Lewis' picture of how God could hear a million prayers in a moment of time, it is worth opening this book! Over the years, Lewis' book has lead me "further in and higher up."
