Hello, My name is Rosemary and I am from Louisiana. I purchased the online downloadable NIV Old and New Testament Bible about two weeks ago. I LOVE it. I can see a change in my spirituality. There is a closeness between me and the Lord that I have not felt in a long time. The Bible states that faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. I have several audio bibles, in RSV, ESV, NLT, and even another NIV version. But the Listener's Bible is in a completely different league. Mac's voice is so commanding and understandable, it is impossible not to be captured by the words and message. While I personally think the NIV is the best to listen to being read aloud, there are othe choices. But for listening pleasure and comprehension, you can't do better than the Listener's Bible.
