As a Precept Bible Study leader, teaching Romans for the 2nd time, I'm finding Max McLean's excellent rendering of Romans in the ESV a great reinforcement of the text, despite the fact that the translation is slightly different (our study uses NASB). Max is an excellent interpreter of Scripture, allowing the words of the text to come alive for the listener. I love being able to download to my computer and iPhone so I can listen at my desk, while walking the dog, or while driving.
