I have been wanting the NIV Listener's Bible by Max McLean for a number of years, and finally purchased one this January 2012. I'M SO GRATEFUL TO BE ABLE TO HAVE THIS TOOL! As I listened to my first CD tears welled up in my eyes with joyous gratitude. Now I'll be able to listen to the bible whether I'm well or ill. Thank you for the many years and hours that I know it took for this recorded bible to be available to the public. Totally Awesome!

Max's voice is clear and dramatic. I like hearing the correct pronounciation of some of the names and cities. Max's voice holds your attention. I have listened to him on the radio and knew I wanted the complete Bible on cd in his dramatic voice. They're great

Max's voice sounds like GOD talking to me in person. I bought his cd set about 2 yrs ago and used them as I drove my long haul truck around GODS country. Not making time to read the bible, the cd version was just what i needed. It allowed me to hear GOD'S word while I was doing my job driving truck.I have since passed on my cd set to a friend that also drives a truck. He also has or made very little time to read the bible. Max's cd's were just what the doctor ordered.He was able to hear GOD'S word and has since come to the Lord.Thanks again Max for helping my friend come to Christ and for me being able to hear the word. I'm now retired from driving and dont have a lot of cash but will be rebuying your cd version as soon as im able. GOD bless you Max and all your staff. Jim P
