Entire Listener's Bible (KJV)

I like the Listener's Bible; however, I was hoping to get it in the New King James. Also, I thought that it might have a search engine, whereby you could go directly to a Bible verse. My reason for wanting this is I teach the Word of God and this makes it easier to study. Having said all that I do enjoy the voice of Max McLean and I am happy that I purchased the product.

After listening to Max McLean reading the King James Version of the Bible On-line I decided to purchase it. I already owned the dramatized New International Version of the Bible on CD, but decided to change to the King James Version because after listening to Walter Veith's DVD about Bible Versions and other speakers, I noticed that the On-line NIV was changing yearly. The changes in the NIV were losing the clarity of the earliest NIV translation. Because of the changes in the NIV I no longer trusted the translators with the Word of God. I am very happy with The Listener's Bible.

Have been a fan of this reading before I knew who it was through listening on YouVersion mobile. This is the best way to absorb the scriptures I've found as Mr. McLean really brings them to life! It's a very traditional and organic way to hear them read as they have been for millennia!

I am not new to Bible study my church has issued a chalange to each member to read the Bible complete this year. The church has issued a list of verses for each month. The listeners Bible helps me to listen and read at the same time. Not only that but it is an outstanding reference to have available when needed. amk
