Five Classics that Still Ignite Hearts and Minds.

Here in one collection, these five classics – each in an easy-to-listen-to narration with an introduction to set up its moment in history – are vividly brought to life by master storyteller, Max McLean. Next to the Bible, these classics have had the most impact on the Christian faith.

What Christian Leaders are saying:
  • Pilgrim’s Progress — one of the greatest works ever penned. This unique production will captivate and encourage you. Ravi Zacharias
  • I love these presentations of the classics by Max McLean … Luther’s Here I Stand is my favorite. R. C. Sproul
  • Max McLean’s Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God has struck a match in my heart to share the Gospel with urgency and clarity! Max has breathed new life into the timeless words of Jonathan Edwards! Joni Eareckson Tada
  • In McLean’s The Method of Grace we see how the great preachers of the Great Awakening brought the Gospel into connection with people’s hearts not just their heads. Tim Keller
  • Augustine meant for his spiritual autobiography to be read aloud. Max McLean’s moving rendition of St. Augustine’s Conversion sends chills down the listener’s spine. Quentin J. Schultze, Ph.D.

This CD set is very motivational I wish every American would be required to listen to the recording of Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God as an example of our American Heritage. Even my ten year old thought it was striking imagery and a memorable presentation. Thank you for the high quality presentation.

I am 74 and purchase these tapes as it is not easy for me to read. Max McLean is an excellent 'story teller'. There are no others that can draw you into the topics as he does. I have been building a Christian library of books, tapes, etc. not only for myself, but for those who inherit them after I am gone. Thank you.

I recently purchased the 9 CD set Classics of the Christian Faith. I couldn't wait to hear them all and I listen to a part nightly. These are keepers to cherish! A piece of rare and great History that will soften the heart and stimulate the mind. The voice and language of the Narrator, Max McLean is clear and is easy to understand. I plan to order the Kings James listener Bible with Max McLean as soon as I can afford it. I Recommend The Classics cd set to everyone.

I have listened to all of Max's presentations of Classics of the Christian Faith so far except "Pilgrim's Progress." As usual, they are presented with clarity and passion. They are very inspirational and I would recommend them to anyone.

We are inspired in our daily Bible readings by The Listener's Bible so decided to order the "Classics . . ." We were furthered inspired by Jonathan Edward's sermon and Augustine's Conversion. Looking forward to the other three and then repeats as time goes by. Wonderful! Thanks.
