We really like the Pilgrims Progress, but the Bass level is too heavy. It would be better if there was more treble tones, easier to hear.

These classics have been given the best rendition I can imagine. They become alive in the spirit which the authors intended them to have as they were written. The earnestness of the writers are masterfully portrayed by Mr. McLean. Luthers defense and presentation to the hierarchy of the church at that time are like being in the room where it all takes place. The Pilgrims Progress gives new meaning to our Christian walk and refocuses us to the truth of our faith. I was sitting in the presence of the authors who were speaking to me through the readings as if I was physically in their company. Thank you Mr. McLean.

I had the great pleasure of watching Max McLean in "Screwtape Letters" live in San Jose. Now I have "Classics of the Christian Faith", all read by Max McLean and I look forward to many happy hours listening to them! Editor's note: You can read more about "The Screwtape Letters" at www.ScrewtapeOnStage.com

Excellent. What a reference to have in my library. These were part of a package that my mother bought for me.
