I have listened to this over and over again - It has brought me peace, and understanding - I have to say even If I had read the complete Bible I would not have gained so much. God Bless you with his every blessing for the work that you do.

For the past two years or so, drawn by the Spirit of God to immerse ourselves in His Word, my husband and I have been listening to the scriptures 24/7 – and we use the Listener’s Bible CD’s and MP3’s exclusively, after initially comparing a variety of audio recordings of the Bible.

Our understanding of “What is Truth” has dramatically changed as we listen over and over again to the truth of His Word.  We have told many people about the Listener’s Bible, as we share what God has been doing in our lives.  They too report they are experiencing a spiritual transformation by the power of the Word, like never before. The Listener’s Bible has been an amazing blessing, allowing us to continually feed upon His Word.

I have to tell you what a huge help your listener’s Bible is to me. I spend so much time in my car. I listen to the CD’s. I don’t get bogged down in passages, you just keep on reading to me and I get it done. I’m at Job. Just when I think the bible can’t get more beautiful! I love this book. I’ve been studying for 3 years. I was brought up by Atheists. I’m learning in my 50’s. I just had to thank you. It’s just what I needed! God Bless you!

My children have about a 30 minute ride to and from school each day and I have been very concerned about the wasted time in the car. Since I bought the Listener’s Bible, I play it in the car with them and they really pay attention. I am so grateful for the opportunity to expose them to the Bible at such a young age. I also dearly appreciate my opportunity to learn more.

Hearing the Word as we read the Word reinforces our understanding…Now my forty-five minute commute is no longer drudgery, but time hearing God’s Word….I took [my Listener’s Bible] into my Wednesday night Bible study. We were reading 2 Kings at the time. After [missing] two weeks, the class requested, more like pleaded, to bring “Max McLean” back to class. This was all the encouragement I needed, so I bought a copy for the class. Our progress has improved by using your CDs as we read the Bible.

I have recently started a regiment to read the entire Bible via biblegateway.com in a few months. I love listening to Max’s vocalization. It brings some extra expression and “color” to the verses I read. I just wanted to say “thank you.” Your ministry blesses me greatly!

My dear sister is dying in a University of Pittsburgh hospital. My soul has been in anguish for over two days. This morning I downloaded the Philippians audio from your site. This book ministers in such a way, that I hungrily devour the strength that lies within. SF Via InternetI am a long distance trucker so your Bible on CD is coming out of my truck CD player for hours throughout the day.

I was worried that I was getting another high speed reading that races through the text without reference to the message. I am delighted to say that I need not have worried. These recordings are excellent - the text really come alive! This is going on my Palm right away for listening on the way to college.

I received the Listener’s Bible on CD as a Christmas present from my family. I spend a number of hours in my auto and to be able to listen to Mr. McLain’s wonderful presentation of the Word has been a great way to redeem the time.

[In response to a recent giveaway of the NIV Bible on cassette we received this response]

I have received the NIV Bible on tape and can't tell you how much I appreciate them. It is a very wonderful addition to my Christian Library. I just love Max McLean’s spoken word, and now have both the New Testament and the Valley of Vision by him. I wish I was closer to New York City so I could get to his performances. I am home all the time due to having Multiple Sclerosis. It is so peaceful to put a tape in my tape player and listen to Max present the Bible. Thanks again for thinking of me when an extra set was available.
